We’ve had a number of people ask us how to share their tutorials with us that they’ve posted to Google Docs. Well here are the instructions:
Sign into your Google Docs account. If you don’t have an account you’ll have to get one. We’re going to assume you’ve already created an account and move on with showing you how to share your document with us.
In the top left hand corner of the screen you have a “New” button. Click on that and select “Document.” It will create your document and you can now add your tutorial to it.
There aren’t any photo or image cropping/manipulation tools there, so please do that in an imaging program before uploading.
Once you’re finished with your document you can Save it and Share it by clicking on the buttons in the top right corner of the screen. Click “Share” and then “Invite People.”
In the “Invite” section, put our e-mail address in there, tutorials (at) instatuts.com. Then, please put a brief description of your project in the “Message” section and click “Send.”
This will allow us to see your entry and put you in the contest.
